Did you know we recently published our first illustrated catalog? The AMAM had never before published an illustrated general overview of its collections. However, this volume can only suggest through selected examples the depth and scope of one of the finest college art museum collections in America.
Allen Memorial Art Museum: Highlights from the Collection showcases more than 200 artworks to illustrate the unique story of the development of a museum for Oberlin College. The choices include artworks that are universally regarded as outstanding masterworks, as well as some that are important to the history of art, to a particular culture, or to the history of the museum itself.
